👋 About Me
Hi, I’m Rachael — counsellor, rural practitioner, farmer, and former nurse.
I offer therapy that’s practical, real, and easy to fit into everyday life.

I help people who feel stuck, stressed, burnt out, or overwhelmed find simple ways to handle life’s challenges and reconnect with what matters most. Whether you’re a busy professional, parent, farmer, or frontline worker, I understand what it’s like to keep pushing through when you’re running on empty.

Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Focused ACT (FACT), I help adults build practical skills to manage stress, clarify their values, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want. Sessions are available online or in person, with short 25-minute FACT appointments or longer ACT sessions depending on your needs.

For children and teenagers, I offer equine-assisted therapy and outdoor-based activities that support emotional regulation, confidence, communication, and self-awareness. These sessions create a calm, natural space where young people can learn, grow, and heal through connection with horses and nature.

My approach is straightforward, compassionate, and grounded — no jargon, no judgement. Just real support that works.
